Jason Torres ’11 completed his second season as an assistant coach with the Manhattanville women’s soccer team in 2018. He works with the Valiants' goalkeepers.

Torres is no stranger to Manhattanville, having spent four years playing with the Valiant men’s soccer team from 2007-11. A two-time All-Freedom Conference selection and 2010 team Most Valuable Player, Torres is Manhattanville’s all-time leader in wins (37) and goals against average (1.04) and also ranks second all-time in shutouts (22) and third in minutes played by a keeper (5646:41). He also owns three of the four lowest single-season goals against averages in school history, including a school-record 0.72 GAA in 2009 that also featured a school-record 11 shutouts and an 803:34 personal scoreless streak, the 12th-longest in Division III history at the time.
 
Since leaving Manhattanville, Torres has served as the head goalkeeping coach for Eastern Football Club since 2011 and also served as head goalkeeping coach for FC Westchester Elite from 2013-16. He also earned his NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 3 Diploma.
 
Torres earned his bachelor’s degree from Manhattanville in 2011 and also earned his master’s degree in sport business management from the College in 2013.
