Sara Steinberg joined the Manhattanville College Department of Athletics as an assistant coach for the men's and women's tennis programs in August 2022.
Steinberg comes to Manhattanville after an undergraduate career at Ithaca College, where she was a four-year member of the Bombers' varsity women's tennis team. Steinberg was heavily involved beyond the tennis court during her time in Ithaca, serving on the Student Athletic Advisory Council and as an Ithaca College Leadership Academy Member.
Steinberg has held a number of coaching positions since 2018, starting as a camp counselor, sports teacher and tennis coach at The Harvey School Cavalier Camp in Katonah. She would go on to work as a tennis professional at the Four Season Racquet Club starting in 2021 before adding Girls Junior Varsity Tennis Coach at King School to her resume beginning in February of 2022.Â
In 2019, Steinberg served as an intern at CT Sport Management Group. She also gained further athletic communications experience during her time at Ithaca as both a member of Ithaca College Television's Social Media and Video Team as well as working directly with the Bombers' Athletic Communications department.Â
Steinberg is a 2021 graduate of Ithaca College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Sports Media with a minor in Coaching. She currently resides in Westport, Conn.
