Biography
2011-12: Made one appearance during the indoor season … at the season-opening Bill Ward Invitational (12/8), ran the 60 in 8.84 and took 10th in the 60 hurdles with a time of 10.14 … did not race for the Valiants during the outdoor season … named to the MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11: Appeared at six meets during the indoor season and three during the outdoor year … indoors, ran primarily in the 55 hurdles and the 200 dash … broke the school’s indoor 55 hurdles mark in her first collegiate meet at MIT (1/29) and then did it three more times during the year … took first place in both the prelims and the finals of the 55 hurdles at Springfield (2/5), running a program-best 9.07 in the prelims and then shattering that with a 8.92 time in the finals … set a new school mark in the 60 hurdles with a 9.96 finish at the USATF New England Indoor Championships (2/20) … broke the 55 hurdle mark again at the MAC Indoor Championships (2/26), taking third place to earn All-Conference first-team honors with a finals time of 8.75 … also set a new season best in the 200 (27.98) to earn 12th place at the MACs … qualified for the ECAC Indoor Championships (3/5) in the 55 hurdles, where she took 24th place … was limited to three races during the outdoor season, yet still set new school records with a 100 hurdle time of 16.97 at Ramapo (4/2) and a time of 1:04.89 in the 400 at Queensborough CC (3/12) … named to the MAC Winter and Spring Academic Honor Rolls.
Previous School: Attended Lehigh University for one year but did not play any sports for the Mountain Hawks.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Harrison High School … a National Honor Society and honor roll student at Harrison.
Personal: Born February 27, 1991 … daughter of Philip and Jayne Marraccini … has two siblings, Toni and Maggie … plans to be a communications major with a business minor at Manhattanville.
