Cassidy Blagman joins the Athletic Communications team for the 2024-25 academic year following her previous year serving as the assistant coach of the Manhattanville College women’s volleyball team.
Blagman joins the staff with a wealth of volleyball knowledge and coaching experience after beginning her career at House of Sports in 2020. She coached fundamental clinics for boys and girls ages 7-16, while assisting with the program’s club teams. She was also a camp counselor for a variety of skill levels and ages. In 2021, she volunteered for Ursuline High School’s junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams. In 2023, Blagman was a member of the women's volleyball staff, coaching the team to the Skyline Conference Championship. She went on to helm the sidelines at the team's NCAA Tournament appearance in the absence of head coach Tyler Blank.
No stranger to Valiant athletics, Blagman was an Athletics Communications Game Day Assistant as an undergraduate where she helped with statistical and media responsibilities for all 23 Division III teams at Manhattanville College. She also interned with the Manhattanville College women’s volleyball team in the Fall of 2023. She assisted with practices and team management, while participating in coaching discussions and drill planning. The team would go on to become Skyline Conference Champions.
At Manhattanville College, Blagman volunteered with the Sr. Mary T. Clark Community Service Center where she participated in a variety of on and off campus programs. Prior to coaching, Blagman was a camp counselor and party assistant at Level Fitness, formally Kinetic Sports Club. She also gained experience in sports photography and graphic design.
Blagman is a 2023 graduate of Manhattanville College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Studies with a minor in Communications. She currently resides in Purchase, N.Y.
