Jamie Calandro was appointed as the assistant coach of the women's volleyball team at Manhattanville College in August 2020.
Prior to Manhattanville, Calandro spent four years playing volleyball at Division I Fairfield University. During her time with the Stags, the team won three Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) championships and earned three NCAA tournament berths. She graduated from Fairfield in 2020 with a bachelor’s in English-creative writing.
Calandro also comes to Manhattanville with prior coaching experience. She served as the head coach of the age 14 regional team at Nova Volleyball Club. Her responsibilities included implementing of practice and game plans and the management of the in-game performance of her players.
A native of Sandy Hook, Conn., Calandro currently resides in Purchase, N.Y., while she pursues her masters in marketing and communication management at Manhattanville.
