Blank led the Valiants to three-straight NCAA Tournament appearances in his first three years at the helm of the women's team. A year removed from a 24-7 overall record and a 10-1 mark in the Skyline Conference en route to the team's second-ever Skyline Conference Championship in 2022, Manhattanville went back-to-back to earn its third conference title after going 20-12 overall and a perfect 11-0 in conference play. The Valiants did not drop a set against a conference opponent in 2023. Manhattanville continued to prove itself as the top dog in the Skyline in 2024, posting another perfect 11-0 conference record as Blank led the Valiants to a third-straight conference title.
Under Blank's tutelage, Loren Hernandez was selected as the conference's Rookie of the Year in 2022, while three Valiants--Vianca Vital, Alejandra Figueroa and Grace Ballagas--were each First Team All-Conference selections. Vital was also named an AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention that year. In 2023, Vital was named Conference Player of the Year and was joined by Hernandez on the All-Conference First Team, while Ballagas and Meghan Wildes were Second Team selections. Blank himself was voted Conference Coach of the Year for his efforts leading the team.
In 2024, Hernandez and Ballagas earned Skyline Conference Player and Libero of the Year honors, respectively. The pairing were joined by Ayla Ruiz as First Team All-Conference selections, while Sofia Morales was voted a Second Team selection.
Blank also oversaw the first season of the Manhattanville men's volleyball program that took to the court for the first time in 2024. The Valiants went 13-17 in the inaugural campaign and finished 9-9 in Skyline competition, earning a postseason berth to the Skyline Quarterfinals.
In Manhattanville's second season of men's volleyball, Blank captured the program's first-ever postseason victory by taking down Purchase on April 8 in the Skyline Conference Championship First Round in a three-set sweep. Blank also developed the first two All-Conference selections in program history, with Evan Rapp being voted Libero of the Year and First Team All-Conference while Kyle Simmons earned a spot on the Second Team.
Blank came to Manhattanville following five seasons with the Nazareth Golden Flyers. Blank's coaching journey in Rochester began in the fall of 2017 when he was brought on as an assistant coach for both of Nazareth's men's and women's volleyball teams. Over the following three seasons, Blank was responsible for both group and individual training with the teams' student-athletes. In 2018, the Golden Flyers women's team won the Empire 8 Conference Championship in Blank's second season with the team. The Nazareth women would go on to play in the conference championship in each season Blank was with the team.
In August 2020, Blank was elevated to the position of Associate Head Coach for both teams, becoming more involved with the day-to-day operations of the team. While taking a more intensive role in the development of practices and game plans, Blank was responsible for both team's budgets, recruiting and scheduling. His role as associate head coach concluded in December 2021, but Blank had continued to work with the Golden Flyers as a volunteer assistant since January of 2022.
Concurrently with his positions with Nazareth, Blank served as the head coach for the Rochester Volleyball Club since November 2017. With the team, Blank was in charge of practice planning for individual sets and the team as a whole for the 18U team. He also had the opportunity to work with athletes of all positions and age groups through individual training sessions.
A graduate of Rivier University, Blank was a standout for the Raiders' men's volleyball team for four seasons. Blank was a four-year starter with Rivier, earning 2014 GNAC Rookie of the Year honors in his first season with the Raiders. In 2016, Blank led all of Division III in assists per set with a mark of 11.31. Blank would also earn AVCA Player of the Week honors during his 2016 campaign. He earned his Bachelor of Science for Rivier in 2016 before earning his Masters of Business Administration in 2017.
