Abigail McDonald joined the Manhattanville women's lacrosse coaching staff in August 2026.
McDonald joins the Valiants following a four-year collegiate career as a defender for Division I Fairleigh Dickinson where she joined the team for it's first-ever season as a freshman in 2023. Starting all 63 games she played in for the Knights, McDonald collected 110 ground balls and caused 43 turnovers with FDU, adding an assist her freshman season and a pair of goals as a senior.Â
Away from the field, McDonald has held a number of marketing positions, interning with Premier Lacrosse League, Tranzact and FDU's Silberman College of Business during her time as an undergraduate. She has also done freelance work for a multitude of companies as a social media manager since 2024 including GetchaSweatOn Personal Training, Maddalena and Maura Castano and the Law Office of Todd I. Siegel.Â
McDonald has also been a USA Lacrosse certified referee since 2024.
A native of Morris County, New Jersey, McDonald graduated from FDU with a marketing degree in May 2026 with a concentration in digital marketing.Â
