DaVaughn Johnson joined the Manhattanville men's basketball staff ahead of the 2026-2027 season.
Johnson brings more than seven years of collegiate coaching experience, most recently serving as the head men's coach at Columbia-Greene Community College for the 2024-2025 season. Johnson also concurrently held the title of interim head women's basketball coach at Columbia-Greene, holding the role from October 2024 to February 2025.
Prior to his stint at the NJCAA level, Johnson was an assistant men's basketball coach at Wesleyan University from 2022 to 2024, also working as an assistant coach for the Cardinals'Â men's golf program. He also worked as an assistant coach at John Jay from 2019 to 2022.
Since 2021, Johnson has served as the program director and head coach at the Pro Level Titans Corporation in New York City. The AAU program has successfully placed basketball student-athletes at the collegiate level across all three NCAA divisions in addition to NAIA and JUCO.
Johnson holds a master's of arts in liberal studies from Wesleyan in addition to a bachelor of science in kinesiology from SUNY Cortland and an associates of liberal arts in humanities and social sciences from Cayuga Community College.
