Federica Turina Dellamaggiore was appointed Assistant Coach of the Manhattanville Field Hockey program in August of 2025.
A native of Argentina, Turina Dellamaggiore was a member of the Division I American University field hockey team for four years. The midfielder played in 65 career games for the Eagles, finishing with 40 points on 18 goals and four assists in her four seasons at American. After finishing with 25 points her sophomore season in 2022, Turina Dellamaggiore was named to the All-Patriot League First Team and earned regional recognition for the National Field Hockey Coaches Association, making the Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team. Academically, she was a member of the NFHCA National Academic Sqaud in 2023 and was recognized on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll three times.
While studying at American, Turina Dellamaggiore served as both a Member Service Specialist in addition to working with the athletic department as a Digital Media Content Creator, creating social media content for the Eagles' athletic teams. Turina Dellamaggiore also served as a sports writer for The Eagle, American University's campus newspaper, during her senior year. She also worked remotely as a graphic designer for Gura Comunicación, creating social media content for the Spain-based marketing and communications company.Â
Turina Dellamaggiore graduated from American in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Graphiv & Visual Communication Design.Â
