Joelle Paul was hired as assistant strength and conditioning coach in August 2026.
Paul comes to Manhattanville after spending the last few years working in Pennsylvania while pursuing her degree at Pennwest Edinboro University. She began working at the Erie Sports Now Performance and Fitness Center in 2025 where she worked with athletes ranging from grade school all the way to the NCAA Division I level. Paul worked both in an individual capacity with athletes as well with teams as a whole, specifically training youth hockey at the facility along with Edinboro's women's lacrosse and men's and women's basketball teams.
Paul also served as a personal trainer at Crunch Fitness in Erie in 2026, working with clients to reach their individualized fitness goals.
While at Edinboro, Paul served as a women's basketball student assistant coach from 2021 to 2025. In the role, she aided in the running of practice drills and training plans in addition to administrative and game day operation tasks.
Paul is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA as well as a certified Assisted Stretch Therapist via Stretch Center, LLC.
Paul is a 2025 graduate of Pennwest Edinboro, holding a bachelor's degree in exercise science.
