Maddie Heinlin was appointed to the coaching staff of the Manhattanville Softball team in August 2025.
Heinlin comes to Manhattanville following her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside. A four-year member of the Highlanders' pitching staff, Heinlin racked up 34 career wins across 494.2 innings, graduating with a 2.58 career ERA. Heinlin stuck out over 100 batters twice, punching out a career-high 130 as a sophomore in 2023. She was recognized by the Big West Conference three times during her collegiate tenure, making the All Big West Second Team in 2023 and being an Honorable Mention in 2024 before graduating as an All Big West First Team honoree in 2025.
Heinlin severed as a member of UC Riverside's Student Athlete Advisory Committee since her sophomore year and was a facilitator of UC Riverside's softball camps from 2022 to 2024.Â
Away from the field, Heinlin brings with her a multitude of athletic-adjacent work experiences. During her senior year at UC Riverside, Heinlin interned with the Department of Athletics, aiding in the day-to-day management of the Highlander athletic programs, specialized in financial evaluation and budgeting for the teams. Heinlin also worked the San Jose Giants of Single-A Minor League Baseball for three summers and interned with Skyhawks Sports Management in the summer of 2024.Â
Heinlin graduated from UC Riverside in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
