Nate Estes was named the Manhattanville University Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in July 2024.

With the Valiants, Estes will be responsible for overseeing the strength and conditioning regiments for all 23 of the department’s varsity athletic programs and the three junior varsity teams. He will also supervise the campus’ two fitness centers in Kennedy Gymnasium and Berman Center.

Estes comes to Manhattanville following two years at King’s College. After beginning his tenure with the Monarchs as a graduate assistant sports performance coach in August 2022, Estes was elevated to Director of Sports Performance in January 2023. At King’s, Estes worked with all of the Monarch intercollegiate athletic teams, developing and implementing performance-based testing protocols. He was responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for each team at King’s, as well as working alongside the King’s medical staff in creating post-rehabilitation and return-to-sport programs for student-athletes recovering from injury.

Estes is a 2019 graduate of the University of Mount Olive, where he earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science with minors in sports psychology and coaching. Estes was a four-year member of the Trojans baseball team, serving as captain for two of his undergraduate years. He was a First Team All-Region selection and a preseason All-American with the Trojans, helping Mount Olive capture a pair of Conference Carolinas championships.
