Box Score DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Senior Susy Camaj (Lagrangeville, N.Y./Millbrook) had a team-leading 10 kills to become Manhattanville's all-time leader in career kills in the Valiants' 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-23) loss to Delaware Valley in Freedom Conference women's volleyball play on Tuesday night at James Work Gymnasium.

In reaching double figures for the career-high 15th time this season and 36th time in her career, Camaj passed Rebecca Magnuson '02 for first place on the school's all-time kills list, having amassed 825 kills to this point in her stellar career. The senior also added a team-best 10 digs for her career-high 10th double-double of the year.

Freshman Alissa Primavera (Brewster, N.Y./Brewster) added to her school single-season record with nine more kills for Manhattanville (16-14, 0-6 Freedom), coming one kill short of her own double-double to go with her 10 digs. Freshman Megan Quinabo (Pearl City, Hawaii/Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama) also added 19 assists and a team-best four service aces.

For Delaware Valley (12-12, 3-3 Freedom), Janel Gluch led all players with 14 kills, followed by Destinee Horning with nine kills and a match-leading 18 digs. Crystal Ronan also chipped in 35 assists, eight digs and eight service aces for the Aggies.

In the opening set, Delaware Valley took an early lead and never gave it up, despite Manhattanville getting to within a point on two occasions at 15-16 and 17-18. The Aggies closed the frame with a 7-1 run to take the one-set lead.

The Aggies again started strong in the middle stanza, jumping out to a 9-4 lead, but the Valiants battled back to take a 10-9 advantage. The visitors still led by a point at 14-13 before another DelVal run closed out the set, this time a 12-4 streak that turned the deficit into a 25-18 Aggie win.

The third frame was a back-and-forth set, with both teams gaining and losing leads. After the home team scored the first five points, the Valiants used an 8-3 run to tie the score and eventually built a 14-13 lead. After another DelVal run made it 18-14, Manhattanville again battled back to take two one-point leads at 21-20 and 22-21, but the lead would not hold as the squad ceded four of the last five points to suffer the straight-set loss.

Manhattanville will return home for its final appearance of the year at Kennedy Gym on Saturday afternoon, as the Valiants honor their graduating seniors with Senior Day prior to the squad's non-conference finale versus Lehman beginning at noon.
