HOBOKEN, N.J. – Stevens' junior forward Carson Pryor netted a hat trick as the Ducks defeated the Valiants 5-0 on Wednesday evening. Manhattanville junior goalkeeper
Steve Singson (Deer Park, N.Y./St. Anthony's) recorded six saves on the day but was unable to quell a potent Stevens offense.
The Valiants had few chances on the day as they produced just two shots on goal. Stevens took a 3-0 lead into halftime thanks to two goals from Pryor and another by midfielder Colin Phillips.
Pryor completed his hat trick just ten minutes into the second half before Joe Cellitti added some extra insurance as he tapped in a ball that was misplayed by junior keeper
Willie Silber (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem East).
Manhattanville returns home on Saturday to challenge the Drew Rangers at 5:30 p.m.
