CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Valiants struggled offensively against first place DeSales University Tuesday evening, dropping their second to last matchup of the season 18-4.
Junior
Ed Seganti (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) made 11 saves in his second start between the pipes for Manhattanville (4-11 overall, 1-5 MAC Freedom), but was unable to shut down the Bulldogs (6-7 overall, 6-0 MAC Freedom), allowing 18 goals on 40 shots.
Sophomore
Tyler Bentrewicz (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) led the offensive attack for the Valiants, scoring once and assisting on each of the other three Valiant goals on the night. Sophomores
Christian Flores (Avon, Conn./Avon) and Robert Schartner, and freshman
Erik Sparby (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) scored one goal apiece.
Senior
Connor Normandin (Stratford, Conn./Bunnell) added four ground balls in the game, and freshman
Soya Goto (Rye, N.Y./Rye) added two ground balls and caused two turnovers for Manhattanville.
Manhattanville looks to end their season with a victory Saturday on Senior Day when the Valiants host King's College at GoValiants.com Field at 3:00 P.M.
