CENTER VALLEY, PA. — The Manhattanville College women's soccer team went to overtime for the second straight match in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play, but was again unable to come away with a victory, dropping a 1-0 extra time decision to DeSales University Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 10.
Manhattanville (2-9, 0-3 MACF) freshman goalkeeper
Alexa Pyatsky (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City), who ranks second in the conference with an average of 6.22 saves per game, played strong once again, making seven saves for the Valiants against DeSales (4-6-2, 1-2 MACF).
The Valiants have have been competitive in MAC Freedom play, taking their last two games to overtime, but have yet to come away with their first conference victory on the season. The Valiants look to pick up that first conference win when they host King's College (Pa.) Saturday, Oct. 13, at GoValiants.com Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
