CENTER VALLEY, PA – The Manhattanville College field hockey team dropped a 9-1 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom contest to the DeSales University Bulldogs Wednesday Oct. 17.

Emily Antinozzi (Rye, N.Y./Rye) scored her team-high eighth goal of the season (and 20th of her Valiant career) for Manhattanville (5-10, 1-4 MACF) off an assist from junior
Ameerah Thomas (Norfolk, Va./Granby), but Christie Hansen and Hannah Williams registered hat tricks and Kylie Honnick-Payne added two goals and three assists for a match-best seven points for DeSales (7-7, 4-1 MACF).
Sophomore goalkeeper
Elaina Nacinovich (Carmel, N.Y./Carmel) played 35 minutes and made six saves, while freshman
Erika Starost (River Edge, N.J./River Dell Regional) also played 35 minutes and made two saves. Sophomore defender
Isela Casillas (Chula Vista, Calif./Eastlake) recorded her fourth defensive save on the season, tops on the team.
The team returns to GoValiants.com Field for Senior Day this Saturday, Oct. 20 for a 1:00 p.m. start with the Eastern University Eagles. Before the match, the team's soon-to-be graduates, Antinozzi and
