CAMDEN, N.J. – Never in question from the first draw, the Manhattanville College women's lacrosse team picked up its third victory of the season Saturday afternoon, March 7, as the Valiants defeated Rutgers University-Camden on the road by a score of 21-8. Sophomore Lara Keenan (Montgomery, N.Y./Valley Central) scored eight goals for the road squad, while rookie Maura Kelly (Stratford, Conn./Bunnell) notched seven total points, including three goals.

The Valiants (3-1) started of the game with a 4-1 run before taking a 14-4 lead into the half against the Scarlet Raptors (0-1). Sophomore Brialee Logue (Hampton, N.H./Winnacunnet) also finished with six points, including four goals. Rookie Marisa D'Angelo (Wantagh, N.Y./MacArthur) chipped in four points as well, including three goals. Senior Bella Marchiselli (Williston Park, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy Academy) once again got the start in the cage for the Valiants as she made 10 saves on 18 shots.

Up next for the Valiants is another road game on Wednesday afternoon, March 11, at 1:00 p.m. in Dover, Del., against Wesley College.
