POSTSEASON HISTORY: On the quest to capturing its ninth conference championship a season ago, Manhattanville fell short to the defending champions Elmira College. The Valiants will be seeking a 17th conference tournament semifinal berth in the program's history. The Crimson and White won seven straight ECAC East Conference Tournaments (2001-02 to 2007-08) and added its eighth title in 2010-11. Overall, the Valiants are 30-11 all-time in conference tournament games.
SEASON/ALL-TIME SERIES: Manhattanville and Stevenson did not meet for a regular-season matchup during the abbreviated 2020-21 season but swept the Mustangs a season ago. This will be the 11th all-time meeting where the Valiants hold a 5-3-2 record over the Mustangs.
LEADING THE WAY: Currently, Manhattanville is on a three-game winning streak and finished the regular-season posting a 3-4 record to earn a spot in the eight-team tournament. The Valiants will look to the leadership of
Morgan Miller (St. Augustine, Fla./Gilmour Academy),
Tianna Lopes (West Vancouver, British Columbia/Pacific Steelers (JWHL)),
Taylor Ham (Saugerties, N.Y./Millbrook School) and
Franny Gerardi (Yonkers, N.Y./Selects Academy) during this postseason run.
THE QUEST TO THE PAT THOMPSON TROPHY: The 2021 UCHC Women's Championship Tournament will be a single elimination format and for the first time, eight teams will compete. The quarterfinal matchup includes:
No.7 Alvernia University at No.3 Chatham University at 5:30 P.M.
