THROGGS NECK, N.Y. – The Manhattanville College baseball team faced a 2-0 Skyline Conference setback Sunday afternoon against the Maritime College Privateers (4-3, 4-2 Skyline) from Reinhart Field in Throggs Neck, New York. Mother nature got the best of the game with heavy rains, causing for it to be called after five innings of play. The Valiants now move to a 5-7 overall record and a 4-6 mark in conference play.

- Anthony Quatrochi (Fishkill, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) was responsible for Manhattanville's lone hit of the game by slapping a leadoff double in the fourth inning off Privateer starter Niko Concha. With his third double on the season, Quatrochi extended his hitting streak to five games.
- On the home half of the fourth, Jaden Shea hit a two-out single off Valiant reliever Luke Shaffer (Monroe, Conn./Masuk) to score Freddy Forgione, which proved to be the game-winning run, and Austen Bishop to settle the 2-0 final.
