PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville College baseball team swept the Yeshiva University Maccabees (0-8, 0-6 Skyline) by capturing a 16-2 Skyline Conference decision in the opener and 10-2 non-conference win in the finale Monday afternoon from Manhattanville College Baseball Field in Purchase, New York. With the wins, the Valiants move to 9-7 on the season and 7-6 in conference play.

- Luke Tebolt (Wappingers Falls, N.Y./Roy C. Ketcham) earned a leadoff walk off Maccabee starter Zachary Baly and later scored the game's initial run in the first inning off a one-out Tyler Mandel (Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale) single. The Valiants double the advantage two batters later after a Joseph Silvestri (Bronx, N.Y./Archbishop Stepinac) single to third pushed across Jack Matero (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay). With the bases loaded, Mandel advanced 90 feet to score the game-winning run courtsey of Matthew Careccia's (Bronx, N.Y./Archbishop Stepinac) single to left field. Manhattanville added two more runs in the frame to take the 5-0 lead.
- The Valiants' watched their lead swell to 13 after putting together an eight-run second inning, highlighted by Silverstri's two-RBI double. Mandel capped the road half scoring with a run-scoring single down the left field line.
- Manhattanville tacked on two additional runs in the fourth inning extend the lead to a game-high 15 runs as Mandel's two-RBI single concluded Baly's outing.
- Yeshiva broke through in the home half of the fourth as David Kreisberg ended Rob McGuinness (New Hyde Park, N.Y./St. Francis Prep) no-hit bid with a one-out RBI single to score David Hanelin, 15-1.
- The Maccabees scored another run in the fifth on Valiant reliever Tommy Iazzetta (Thornwood, N.Y./Westlake). Jacob Schwartzman touched home plate off of Hanelin's two-out single to trim the deficit to 13 (15-2).
- Nick Siano (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) scored the game's final run in the sixth inning for the Valiants to settle the 16-2 run-rule final.
- McGuinness retired four batters (one walk) and allowed one hit and one earned run in four innings of work to earn his first-career win. Iazzetta (2 H, R, ER, 2 K) and Nick Carita (Levittown, N.Y./Island Trees) (K) worked two and one innings in relief for the Valiants.

- Manhattanville opened the game two scoring with two runs scored on Maccabee starter Adam Zahler. Matero slapped an RBI single to center field for Anthony Quatrochi (Fishkill, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) to score the game's first run. The Valiants doubled their advantage behind Matero capitalizing off a throwing error by Zahler.
- In the second inning, Anthony Pressimone (Bronx, N.Y./Archbishop Stepinac) used a one-out single to score Chris Murphy (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside), which proved to be the game-winning run (3-0). Pressimone then scored the Valiants' fifth run of the game in the frame that would end Zahler's day.
- With reliever Kreisberg on the mound, Manhattanville scored a single run in the third inning. The Valiants grew its lead to eight thanks to Mandel's two-out two-RBI single to left center to push across Pressimone and Jaden Colon (New Rochelle, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman), 8-0.
- Yeshiva entered the scoring column in the bottom of the fourth coming off the hands of Kreisberg on reliever John Millicker (Putnam Valley, N.Y./Putnam Valley). Kreisberg's run-scoring single pushed Hanelin across home plate.
- Holding a 9-1 lead heading into the seventh, Matt Tuite (Shrub Oak, N.Y./Lakeland) blasted his first-career solo shot over the right field fence to extend the Valiants' lead to a game-high nine runs, 10-1.
- Judah Blonder took advantage of a throwing error by second baseman Dylan Creegan (West Nyack, N.Y./Clarkstown South) to score Yeshiva's second run of the game before reliever Ryan Powers (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) induced Ari Rosenberg into a groundout to settle the 10-2 final.
- Joe Lacoparra (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) surrendered two hits and reitred one batter in one inning of relief work to claim his first-career win for Manhattanville.
