Renay Charley (Redondo Beach, Calif./Redondo Union) and freshman
Bea Pretnar (Mohegan Lake, N.Y./Soundview Prep) each picked up wins at doubles and singles to remain undefeated on the season.
Despite having only four women competing, the Valiants (2-1) picked up two wins at doubles and three at singles to secure the win. Charley and Pretnar won 8-3 at first doubles and at second doubles, graduate student
Maya Dziurda (Warsaw, Poland/Liceum Mikolaja Kopernika) paired with junior
Kelsey Ulzheimer (Franklin Square, N.Y./H. Frank Carey) picked up an 8-2 victory.
Manhattanville swept the first three singles slots. Charley won 6-0, 6-3 at first singles, Pretnar won 6-1, 6-3 at second singles and Dziurda won 6-3, 6-1 at third singles to help secure the Valiant victory.
The Crimson and White return to the court tomorrow, Saturday, May 1, at Purchase College. Start time is set for 10:00 A.M.
