PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville College baseball team rallied in the middle innings and came away with a 12-11 Skyline Conference home win in 10 innings over the Mount Saint Mary College Knights (2-3, 2-2 Skyline) Wednesday afternoon from Manhattanville College Baseball Field. The Valiants now move to a 4-5 overall record and 3-4 mark in conference play.

- Manhattanville opened the game's scoring in the in the first inning on Knight starter Matthew Borriello as Matt Lynch (Wappingers Falls, N.Y./Roy C. Ketcham) scored off Tyler Mandel's (Scarsdale, N.Y./Scarsdale) double to claim the early 1-0 lead.
- Mount Saint Mary responded in the second inning with one run scored off Valiant starter Matthew Messina (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle). Robert Brust's sacrifice fly out plated Liam Merlin to knot the game at one (1-1).
- The Valiants tacked on three runs in the bottom half of the second to take the 4-1 advantage.
- The Knights put together five-runs and three-runs scored innings in the fourth and fifth innings, respectively, highlighted by a Dominick Marzigliano three-run homer over the left field fence to make it a 9-4 game.
- Manhattanville started a rally with a critical four-run sixth inning to pull within one run, 9-8.
- Mount Saint Mary attempted to create some distance with a single run scored in the seventh. Manhattanville answered in the bottom frame with Mandel's single and an error by center fielder Jack Goodwin that brought home Matthew Careccia (Bronx, N.Y./Archbishop Stepinac) and Jack Matero (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) to make it a 10-all game.
- After earning an one-out walk in the eighth, Jake Parisi (Centereach, N.Y./Centereach) touched home plate off of Anthony Quatrochi's (Fishkill, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) single for the Crimson and White to regain the lead, 11-10.
- A costly error by shortstop Lynch in the ninth pushed across Steven Mirra to send the 11-11 game into extra frames.
- Joe Stewart opened the 10th with a leadoff double for the Knights. Then, Valiant reliever Luke Shaffer (Monroe, Conn./Masuk) fired back-to-back strikeouts before inducing Michael DiGiovanni into a fly out to center to end the top half of the inning.
- With Quatrochi sitting on second base, Lynch hit a two-out walk-off single off Knight reliever Anthony Caminitti to settle the 12-11 final in 10 innings.
