PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville College softball team collected a 14-1 and 7-0 Skyline Conference wins Saturday afternoon over the St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) Bears (17-8, 12-8 Skyline) on Senior Day home finale from Manhattanville College Softball Field. With the sweep, the Valiants (16-3, 11-3 Skyline) extended their winning streak to seven games and remain in second place in the league standings.

- Manhattanville struck first in the opening inning with four runs scored on Bear starter Jessica Mecham and three more on reliever Sierra Bedrin. Casillas opened her senior day with a leadoff single to extend her hitting streak to 18 games. Giovanna Liggett (Fountain Valley, Calif./Edison) cracked a two-RBI single to push across Casillas and Jayleen Torres (Bellflower, Calif./Downey), which proved to be the game-winning run, for the Valiants' 2-0 advantage.
- Facing her first pitch, DeLuca blasted a two-run homer over the right center field fence to conclude Mecham's outing. With Bedrin in the circle, Abby Tanuma (Chula Vista, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) launched a solo home run over the center field fence to extend the Valiant lead to five, 5-0. Manhattanville capped the first inning scoring courtesy of a Casillas two-RBI single to make it a 7-0 game.
- Down 0-2 in the count in the second frame, Nicole Trani put St. Joseph's lone run on the board with a leadoff solo shot over the left field fence off Valiant starter Feliciano to trim the deficit to six runs, 7-1. The Valiants tacked on a single run in the second, five in the third and an insurance run to build the 13-run advantage, 14-1.
- Vivian Tomovich singled up the middle to lead off the fifth inning before Feliciano induced back-to-back flyouts and fired her second strikeout of the day to settle the 14-1 final. Feliciano surrendered five hits and allowed one run and two walks to earn her fourth win and third complete-game on the season.

- Casillas extended her impressive hitting streak to 19 games with a leadoff single in the first inning off Bear starter Allison Kaspar. Torres followed with her team-leading ninth double of the season to push across Casillas for the game-winning run. Torres doubled the Valiants' advantage after scoring off Liggett's sacrifice flyout, 2-0.
- The Valiants captured a 5-0 lead after putting together a one-run third and a two-run fourth. Heading into the home half of the fifth, Liggett hit a run-scoring single to push across Torres and conclude Kaspar's day.
- Franson kept her hitting streak alive, pushing it to seven games, with a RBI single to help build the Valiants lead to seven.
- Charli Shinstine (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito Academy) induced back-to-back flyouts before retiring Isabella Calabrese for the final out to settle the 7-0 final. For the fourth time this season, Shinstine fired 12 strikeouts along with scattering four singles to earn her fifth-career complete-game shutout.
