ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Manhattanville College field hockey team was defeated by Hartwick College on Saturday afternoon, 4-0. The loss drops the Valiants to 0-6 on the season.
The Hawks got on the board just under five minutes into the first quarter before hanging three goals in the second to firmly distance themselves from the Valiants.
Manhattanville was outshot by a 32-7 margin, with the Valiants managing four shots on goal compared to the Hawks' 15.
Felicity Williams (Glen Falls, N.Y./Glen Falls) and
Raquel Brown (Claymont, Del./Brandywine) each recorded a pair of shots on target. In the cage,
Cat Morgan (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay Senior) made a season-high 10 saves.
