SCRANTON, Pa. – The Manhattanville College men's lacrosse team defeated Marywood University in double overtime, 7-6, on Saturday afternoon.  The Valiants and Pacers were neck and neck throughout the entirety of the match until Manhattanville's Sean Larkin (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains) scored unassisted 2:31 into double overtime to secure the victory. To start the second half, the Valiants would have another man up opportunity where Cornelia would score his second goal of the day only 12 seconds into the period off a Frank Tallerico (Monroe Township, N.J./Monroe Township) assist. This would give Manhattanville a 4-3 lead. Not long after, Matt Manna was able to get one back for the Pacers to tie up the game at 4-4. Valiant freshman Dash Munson (Mansfield, Mass./Mansfield) would then score to take back the lead for Manhattanville, 5-4.
