PURCHASE, N.Y. – As the Manhattanville University track and field team looks forward to the Skyline Conference Championships, Gabrielle Billetz (Clarksburg, Mass./Hoosac Valley) of the women's team has been tabbed as the Skyline Women's Field Athlete of the Week, for the week ending Apr. 21. This would be her second individual accolade of the season.

The rookie thrower competed in a pair of events at the Jack Maloney Invitational hosted by Southern Connecticut State this past weekend. She took to the thrower's circle, recording a pair of fifth place finishes in shotput and discus. She marked a distance of 10.43m in shotput while throwing 34.79m in discus.

Billetz and the Valiants head to Farmingdale State this weekend for the Skyline Conference Championships as they go head-to-head with the Rams, as well as Merchant Marine and Mount Saint Mary.
