How We Got Here
Manhattanville made their first postseason appearance in program history during the 2004 season as part of the Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference. The Valiants tallied a 6-9 overall record going 3-3 in the conference standings. They would fall in the First Round to Stevens, 21-3.
Back in 2018, when Manhattanville was still a member of the MAC Freedom Conference, the Valiants ended the season 8-9 overall and 3-4 in conference play. They would take on Eastern in the First Round, ultimately facing a 20-5 defeat.
The Valiants clinched their third-ever conference tournament appearance with regular season wins over Mount Saint Mary, St. Joseph's Long Island, Mount Saint Vincent, and Purchase. They will take on Maritime College, making their sixth straight postseason since 2018.
The top seeded Privateers finished 6-1 overall, winning the three-way tiebreaker against Merchant Marine and Farmingdale State with goal differential to earn hosting privileges. Both semifinal games and the championship will take place on Maritime's home turf with new conference playoff formatting.
