The Lyons recorded two tallies in the second quarter and one a piece in the following third and fourth quarters. With this being their second meeting ever, the Lyons have earned the win in both meetings with the Valiants

The Valiants were outshot 17-2 in the contest, with Holyoke also holding an 8-2 penalty corner advantage. With the Lyons dominating possession all night, the home team broke through with an unrelenting attack.

Facing a scoreless first quarter, Manhattanville put up a strong defensive effort facing four shots in the first 15 minutes. A short three minutes later came the second goal from freshman Emily Bisson off of a penalty corner.
