PURCHASE, N.Y. – Manhattanville field hockey drops conference home-opener 2-0 against Immaculata at GoValiants.com Field on Friday afternoon.
Before the game tonight, the program took a moment to recognize the two graduating seniors from the 2025-26 class. Lulu LePage (Swansea, Mass./Elmira College) was the first senior to walk, after spending two seasons as a member of the women's ice hockey team. LePage found her way to the turf, having an immediate impact on the program, co-leading the team with four goals.
Quoting fellow nursing major, junior goalkeeper Hannah Doherty (Clarkstown, N.Y./Clarkstown South):
"She's a hard worker who shows up every day, no matter the day ahead of practice or a game…she's a leader on the team"
Our second senior was captain Makenzie Mueller (Northport, N.Y./Northport Senior). She has been with the program since her freshman fall in 2022, making 58 appearances and starting in all of them. Mueller has made her mark on the program, dating back to her first goal during her freshman season. She has an impact on her teammates both on and off the field.
Fiona Doherty (Clarkstown, N.Y./Clarkstown South), a junior and fellow captain, had this to add about the senior:
"Mak is a great teammate who steps up and leads our team…she shows great leadership on and off the field… she is a great friend who always shows up for us whenever she's needed"
