PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Skyline Conference named Adrianna Filippelli (Mastic, N.Y./William Floyd) the Player of the Week on Oct 20 after three dominating outings throughout the week.

Over the course of three matches, Filipelli shut down her opponents, assisting towards the team's 3-0 stretch to clinch the two seed going into postseason play.

On the doubles court alongside partner Addison Ortiz (Bronx, N.Y./High School for Health Professions and Human Services), the duo posted three wins, outscoring opponents 6-1, 6-2, and 6-1. For her singles matchups, the Mastic native secured her sweep with a 6-0, 6-3 win over St. Joseph's Long Island (W 6-1). She then had a 6-3, 6-2 win over Mount Saint Mary (W 7-0) and a 6-2, 6-2 exclamation point on the week against Sarah Lawrence (W 7-0)
