RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Women's soccer scored a lone goal in a 4-1 loss to Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday night on the road.
The Valiants (5-10) drop below .500 in conference play, going to 4-5. The Dolphins grab its fourth straight, moving to 10-2-2 (7-1-1 SKY).
Manhattanville grabbed the lone goal of the match in the last 13 minutes to play with an unassisted score from Gianna Cuffari (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) to avoid the shutout. Senior keeper Macey Girard (Branford, Conn./Branford) grabbed a season high in saves with 12, putting her at 60 on the season.
The Dolphins' scoring was thanks to a pair of goals from Eva Puentes and Aiyanna Robles Sedano, with all four goals coming in the first half of play.
