PURCHASE, N.Y. – After both teams fought hard for multi-win weeks, Kathleen O'Mara (Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman) and Gregory Tashik (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park Jr./Sr.) have earned the Valiant of the Week titles for the week ending on March 22nd.

O'Mara made her season debut at Delaware Valley on this past Wednesday, leading her team to the 12-8 victory with four goals on five shots on goal as well as four ground balls and two caused turnovers. In women's lacrosse's first win of the season at home against conference opponent Mount Saint Vincent, the sophomore was a threat across the field. She scored two goals, dished one assist, while grabbing three grounders and causing two turnovers.

Tashik made an appearance in two games this weekend. Against John Jay, the senior went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases. At home in the conference matchup against Yeshiva, he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI. He also grabbed two more stolen bases, going 4-for-4 on the weekend.
