PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Valiants had six student-athletes from its spring varsity athletic teams honored this week by the Skyline Conference as weekly Honorable Mentions, for the week ending Mar. 22. Members from the Manhattanville men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, baseball, softball and men's tennis teams were recognized for their performances in the week that was.

Skyline Conference Men's Lacrosse Weekly Report – March 23
Jake Strobel (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains)
The senior compiled five points on four goals and an assist in Manhattanville's two games. After his first multi-goal effort of the season on Wednesday against Immaculata, Strobel matched his career-high with three points in Saturday's tilt against Nichols with two more tallies and an assist while corralling a ground ball.

Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Weekly Report – March 23
Kathleen O'Mara (Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman)
O'Mara opened her sophomore season with flair, compiling seven points with six goals and an assist in her first two appearances of the year. The midfielder scored four times in her debut on Wednesday at Delaware Valley, adding four ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in the win. O'Mara went on to score twice, notch an assist, cause two turnovers and earn three grounders in Manhattanville's conference opening win on Saturday against Mount Saint Vincent.

Skyline Conference Baseball Weekly Report – March 23
Griffin White (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Arlington)
The freshman continued his stellar rookie campaign, hitting .667 across 12 at-bats with eight RBI and four runs scored. White drove in four in Saturday's opener against John Jay and had another four RBI performance in his lone appearance on Sunday against Yeshiva, hitting a double and a home run as part of his 3-for-4 day at the plate.

Skyline Conference Softball Weekly Report – March 23
Emma Foster (Santa Barbara, Calif./San Marcos)
Foster has been as hard of an out as they come at the top of the Valiant lineup, hitting .400 over six games with 11 runs scored. In addition to driving in three and hitting a pair of doubles, the sophomore went a perfect 10-for-10 on stolen base tries, trying the program's single-game record with four steals on Sunday at Washington.

Jori Wilkendorf (Livermore, Calif./Livermore)
The junior arm went 3-1 with a 2.14 ERA across 19.2 innings of work with 14 strikeouts. Wilkendorf did not surrender a run in three of her four appearances last week, highlighted by tossing the first three innings on Thursday's no-hitter with a career-high eight strikeouts.

 Skyline Conference Men's Tennis Weekly Report – March 23
Thomas Jouanneau (Luneville, France/Lycee Arago)
Jouanneau handled business in the top flights on Thursday against UMass Boston as the Valiants captured their first win of spring. The graduate notched a 6-2 win in No. 1 Doubles before earning a 6-2, 6-3 win in top solos action.
