GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three members of the Manhattanville University women's basketball team were recognized with selection to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, as announced by the organization earlier this week.

Manhattanville's honorees—a trio of seniors in Julie DeBrocky (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac), Amanda Orlando (Putnam Valley, N.Y./Putnam Valley) and Esther Ramos (Queens, N.Y./Forest Hills)—earned the accolade for their combined efforts on the court and in the classroom. Ramos is making her third appearance on the Academic All-District® team after earning the distinction each of her years of eligibility, while DeBrocky and Orlando earn their second Academic All-District® selections of their careers.

Furthermore, Ramos was selected to advance to the Academic All-America® ballot, with the CSC Academic All-America® teams to be announced in April.

Student-athletes were eligible for selection to the Academic All-District® Team with sophomore or greater standing both academically and athletically. Candidates needed to have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.50 or higher while competing in either 90 percent of their team's games in the 2025-26 season or starting 66 percent of the intuition's games in the season.

Ramos finished her collegiate tenure as Manhattanville's leader on the floor in the 2025-26 season, being named to the Skyline All-Conference First Team for a second year in a row. The senior was further recognized as a D3Hoops.com All-Region Selection earlier this month on the Region 3 Second Team, becoming the fourth player in program history to earn the distinction. Ramos started all 27 games of the season and averaged a career-high 15.2 points per game, adding 6.6 rebounds per contest. She finished with 46 steals, 47 assists and four blocks on the campaign as the Valiants made a run to the Skyline Conference Championship Finals for the third time in four years. Her top performance of the year came in Manhattanville's semifinals victory over Farmingdale where she scored a career-high 32 points, the last of 23 games this year in double-figures.

DeBrocky makes her second-straight Academic All-District® Team to close out her senior year, as the Mahopac native was also a constant in the Valiant starting five. The senior started all 27 games and set career-highs in all statistical categories, averaging 11.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. DeBrocky added 38 steals, 41 assists and nine blocks to her ledger in what was a strong all-around campaign for the guard. She served as Manhattanville's top threat from deep, with her 67 threes the third-highest single-season total recorded in program history while her career total of 137 ranks seventh all-time.

Orlando made her return to the Academic All-District Team after previously earning the accolade as a sophomore in 2023-24, missing the playing eligibility requirements last year after recovering from injury at the start of the year. Back to full health as a senior, Orlando started all 27 games this year and put up a career-high 10.8 points per game. The Putnam Valley native averaged 3.4 rebounds per contest and finished with a personal-high of 82 assists, finishing second on the team with 3.0 dishes per contest. Orlando added 68 steals and three blocks to wrap up her collegiate career.
