The Valiants broke through on the scoreboard with 11:39 left in the half as Tallerico scored with the man advantage off a feed from Strobel. The tally did little to quiet the Farmingdale attack as the Rams scored twice more before the halftime horn to take a 9-1 lead.
Farmingdale scored the first two goals of the second to push the lead up to 10. Palladino snapped the Rams' string of four unanswered off Roberts' assist with 9:34 left in the third, but Farmingdale tacked on two more in the quarter to take a 13-2 advantage entering the fourth.
Both teams struck three times in the fourth quarter, with the Valiants getting their final goals from Strobel, Roberts and Berch. Berch's tally, the final of the game, was set up by a pass from Beahm.
