Alexa Lazur Selected to 2026 All-ECAC Softball Team

6/1/2026 2:33:00 PM

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced Alexa Lazur (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) of the Manhattanville University softball team as the third base representative on the 2026 All-ECAC Team.

It is the second All-Region accolade for Lazur this offseason, as the junior was previously announced as an NFCA Region III First Team selection earlier in May. Lazur also makes it two-straight years the Valiants have sent a player to the All-ECAC Team after Samatha Walsh earned the recognition as the team's second base representative in 2025.

Lazur adds one more recognition to what has been a highly-decorated breakout year for the junior. The junior third baseman was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year and made the All-Conference First Team following a season that saw her manning the hot corner for 44 games. After posting a career-best .303 batting average in her sophomore campaign, Lazur erupted for a .425 average as a junior, leading the Valiants at the dish. Lazur drove in 31 and scored 27 times while collecting 20 extra base hits. The Carlsbad, Calif. native was second on the team with 15 doubles while leading the Valiants with five home runs. Lazur flexed her power in the Skyline Conference Championship Tournament, belting three homers in the postseason en route to being named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
