PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville University women's tennis team was named a recipient of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team award for the 2025-26 academic year, while six total Valiant student-athletes from the men's and women's tennis teams earned ITA Scholar Athlete status.

Manhattanville was among the 177 Division III women's tennis programs recognized by the ITA with All-Academic Team distinction for having a team grade point average of a 3.20 or above for the academic year.

Individually, five Valiants from the women's team—senior Suzi Doyle (Devon, England/Exeter College), juniors Addison Ortiz (Bronx, N.Y./High School for Health Professions and Human Services) and Amaya Ortiz (Bronx, N.Y./High School for Health Professions and Human Services), sophomore Adrianna Filippelli (Mastic, N.Y./William Floyd) and freshman Jenifer Lalman (Schenectady, N.Y./Schenectady)—were joined by Elouan Charretteur (Fontainebleau, France/Lycée International Francois Premier 1er) of the men's roster as ITA Scholar Athletes for the past academic year. All six individuals met the criteria of posting a 3.50 GPA or higher for the academic year.

In addition to the successes in the classroom, the Valiants shined on the courts in competition this past year. The women's team captured its eighth conference championship and its second in the last three seasons in the fall and made its second NCAA Tournament appearance in the spring, while the men's team made a postseason run to the Skyline Conference Championship finals after going undefeated in regular season conference action.
