NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) honored four student-athletes of the Manhattanville University women's lacrosse team with selection to the organization's 2025-26 Division III Academic Honor Roll, while the team as a whole was named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
Manhattanville was among the 357 total programs across Division I, II, III and NAIA that were named 2026 IWLCA Academic Honor Squads. To qualify, teams needed to have earned a collective grade point average of a 3.20 or higher across the academic year. The Valiants posted a 3.35 GPA as a team across the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
On an individual level, four Valiants were named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll for 2026. Honorees needed to be a junior, senior or graduate student with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Senior
Ava Wade (Eastchester, N.Y./Eastchester) was selected to her second-consecutive IWLCA Honor Roll this year and was joined by juniors
Erin Flaherty (Rockland, Mass./Canterbury School),
Julia Huertas (Shirley, N.Y./William Floyd) and
Jacee Russello (Hope Valley, R.I./North Kingstown Senior), each earning the accolade in their first seasons of eligibility.
The Valiants went 7-9 in the 2026 season and made the team's second-consecutive appearance in the Skyline Conference Championship Tournament as the No. 5 seed.
