Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Manhattanville men's lacrosse team scored four unanswered goals in the latter stages of the fourth quarter, but the late surge wasn't enough as the team fell to the Arcadia Knights on GoValiants.com Field by the score of 10-6 on Wednesday evening.

Three more Arcadia goals went up on the scoreboard in the third period as the Knights took a 7-2 lead heading into the final period of regulation.
The Valiants yielded the first two goals of the period to take a 9-2 lead, but then Manhattanville began to make an offensive surge in attempts to get back into the game.

Bill Motherway (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) got the ball rolling just 14 seconds after the latest Arcadia goal to make the game 9-3. Several minutes later, Tarczali found the back of the net for his second goal of the game to trim the deficit to five. The next two goals came on extra-man opportunities as Balog also picked up his second of the game, while senior
Justin Figueroa (Ardsley, N.Y./Ardsley) hit his fifth of the season to pull Manhattanville back within three. Sahakian had both assists on the man-up tallies.
Austin Morris of Arcadia iced the game with one final goal with just over a minute and a half left in the contest to send his team to its first-ever Freedom Conference victory with the final score showing 10-6.
