PURCHASE, N.Y. – With a little under three months to go before the season gets underway, the Manhattanville College women's lacrosse team has officially announced its schedule for the 2022 campaign.

Led by Arianna Kreush in her first season at the helms of the team she played for as a student, the Valiants have a slate of 15 games planned for the upcoming season. Manhattanville went 2-5 in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, where they were defeated by Farmingdale in the Skyline Conference Championship semifinals.

"We are looking forward to a competitive full schedule this spring", said Kreush. "This team is very driven and hungry to do well in the Skyline, and I personally cannot wait to see what we accomplish."

The Valiants begin the season with seven non-conference matchups. The season begins on Thursday, March 10, when Manhattanville hosts Simmons University for a 1 p.m. showdown on GoValiants.com Field. It will be the first meeting between the Sharks and Valiants since 2016. The Crimson and White then take to the road for the first time on March 12 at Marymount. The 2 p.m. game will be the Valiants' first-ever meeting against the Saints.

Manhattanville returns home to play Vassar College on March 15, with a start time to be announced. On March 18, the Valiants host the University of New England at 5 p.m. in the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The non-conference docket concludes with a March 23 tilt at Sage College, a home showdown with Lycoming on March 25, and a road contest at Bryn Mawr on March 30.

As March gives way to April, conference play gets under way against the reigning conference champion Farmingdale. The Valiants and Rams will meet in Farmingdale on April 2, with a start time to be announced. Manhattanville will then return home for their first Skyline Conference game on GoValiants.com Field on April 5 against Merchant Marine at 5 p.m.

On April 8, Manhattanville heads to Throggs Neck to take on Maritime College at 6:30 p.m. A two-game homestand immediately follows as the Valiants host the College of Mount Saint Vincent on April 13 and Purchase College on April 19.

The Valiants are back on the road on April 23 to take on Old Westbury. The home schedule wraps up on April 27 when Manhattanville hosts St. Joseph's College-Long Island for the home finale at 7 p.m. Three days later, the regular season concludes at Newburgh when the Valiants travel to Mount Saint Mary College for a noon matchup.

The Skyline Conference Championship is schedule to start on May 3 with the first-round matchups. The Skyline Semifinals are slated for May 5, with the championship match taking place on May 7.
