PURCHASE, N.Y. – After a phenomenal performance this past week, Tommy Lotito (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's) of the Manhattanville College men's basketball team has been selected as the Skyline Conference Player of the Week, for the week ending Dec. 11. 
 
The senior guard helped the Valiants go 3-0 in last week's contests scoring 62 points, and adding 20 rebounds, 11 assists, and three steals to his totals. On Monday against Hunter, he scored 13 points, with five assists and pulled down six boards. On Wednesday against Maritime, Lotito added 20 points, a pair of assists, and a team-high nine rebounds. On Saturday against Sarah Lawrence, he would assist in Manhattanville's fourth straight win after scoring a career-best 29 points and tallying four assists and five rebounds, while going 11-for-15 from the field to earn a comeback win for the Valiants. 

In addition to earning Skyline Player of the Week honors, Lotito was further recognized by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association on Tuesday as one of the organization's Honorable Mentions for the week.

Following the holiday break, Lotito and the Valiants return to action on Dec. 29 to take on Lehman College at 5 p.m.
