PURCHASE, N.Y. – The 2023 NCAA Division III Softball Championship bracket was unveiled earlier today as the Manhattanville College softball team has found out their destination for this week's regionals round. The Valiants will be headed to Virginia Beach to host Virginia Wesleyan University for the opening double elimination round from May 18 through the 20^th.

The Valiants will be joined in Old Dominion by The College of New Jersey and John Jay as the three northeast schools make the journey down to Virginia Beach. Manhattanville's first opponent in the regional bracket will be the NJAC champions TCNJ, while No. 13 Virginia Wesleyan, who fell in the ODAC Finals against Randolph-Macon, takes on CUNAC champs John Jay.

Manhattanville punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a sweep of Farmingdale in Saturday's Skyline Championship Finals. The Valiants carry a 38-5 record into the tournament, having gone 18-0 during regular season conference play and having won 33 of their last 34 games.

The Lions of TCNJ carried a 14 game winning streak through the NJAC Tournament, defeating Ramapo 4-0 in the Conference Championship on Sunday. The Lions carry a 29-9 record down to Virginia Beach.

The Valiants and Lions were originally scheduled to meet during the regular season with a doubleheader slated for Mar. 24 in Ewing, New Jersey. The games were ultimately canceled due to inclement weather.

Game times for the regional site are to be announced.
