PURCHASE, N.Y – Manhattanville soccer programs pulled off statement-making wins against Saint Joseph's Brooklyn on Saturday, Oct 11, with a combined 15-0 shutout on the day. With stand-out performances, these two recipients totaled five goals between the Valiants of the week for Oct 6 through Oct 12.

WOMEN'S SOCCER – Kailey Roxo (Seymour, Conn./Seymour)

Over the week, Roxo had solid performances in both the match against Sarah Lawrence and in the victory over SJBK.

In the win, the junior midfielder put the Valiants on the board with the first two goals in the 6-0 victory, coming from her. Not only was the first goal her first of the season, but the game-winner was the first of her career.

Women's soccer is back on the road. The Valiants take on Lebanon Valley (8-8-2, 2-3-2 MACF) on Oct 15 at 4 PM.

MEN'S SOCCER – Nico Del Vescovo (Flanders, N.J./Mount Olive)

In both victories over Sarah Lawrence and SJBK, the New Jersey native posted a combined four goals on six shots on goal.

Del Vescovo led the offensive line in the win over the Bears on his home turf. With his first career hat trick, the senior ripped off four shots with a shot on goal percentage of .750 in the match.

Men's soccer heads home for their next match, landing against Maritime (7-3-2, 2-3-2 ECAC) on Oct 18 at 3 PM for Senior Day.
