Manhattanville Athletics Honor Roll Report Oct. 27th

PURCHASE, N.Y.--- The Skyline Conference recognized three Manhattanville student-athletes for their efforts over the past week, one honoree coming from women's field hockey, and two from women's volleyball.
 

Atlantic East Conference Women's Field Hockey Weekly Report – Oct. 27th 

Hannah Doherty (Clarkstown, N.Y./Clarkstown South) 

The last two match ups for the Valiants have been paired with a trip to Pennsylvania facing Cedar Crest College and Marywood University. Against Cedar Crest she secured her second shutout of the season with the 2-0 victory. She held her goals against average to 2.48 while completing six saves on all six shots. 

Later in the week against Marywood, again she put up a strong defensive effort. She tallied nine saves off 12 shots for a save percentage of 0.750 and held her goals against average to 2.51 with only three goals against. 

Manhattanville Field Hockey returns to the field October 28th at 7 PM as they host William Paterson University. 
 

Skyline Conference Women's Volleyball Weekly Report – Oct. 27th 

Caylin Caballero (Eastvale, Calif./Walnut)
Over the past week Caballero has continued to demonstrate her reliability on the court for the Valiants. The Valiants traveled to Mount Saint Mary College where Caballero collected a total of 11 kills, 33 total attacks, and six digs throughout the night. She continues to bring her dominant play to the court against the University of Mount Saint Vincent where she tallied 11 kills, 17 total attacks, and 10 digs. 


Kayla Jennings (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Lakeland)

Throughout the past two matches Jennings has shown her strength teamwork through her nonstop dependability on the court for the Valiants. Facing Mount Saint Mary, she racked up one kill, two total attacks, two assists, two service aces, and a whopping 29 digs, continuing to showcase her laser focused attention to detail when receiving. Later that week against the University of Mount Saint Vincent, she added four assists and three digs, continuing to be an essential member for Manhattanville's team. 

Valiants Volleyball returns on October 28th at 7PM as they host Yeshiva University.
