DANBURY, Conn. – Senior
Samantha Walsh (Spring City, Pa./Owen J Roberts) of the Manhattanville University softball team was named to the 2025 Division III All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Team for her efforts on the field this year, serving as the All-ECAC Division III Second Base selection.
Walsh continues to rack up accolades this offseason following the conclusion of her senior campaign. An All-Conference, NFCA All-Region, and a CSC Academic All-District selection, Walsh was one of 14 student-athletes voted to the All-ECAC Team in 2025.
Walsh became Manhattanville's all-time leader in runs scored with 165 after stepping on home 47 times this season, the latest highlight in a Valiant career that was full of them. The Pennsylvanian hit .381 as a senior and drove in 36. Walsh was one of just three Manhattanville players to start all 42 games this season as she posted a personal-best slugging percentage of .636 for the year, hitting 10 doubles, two triples and six home runs.
In addition to one of her most prolific offensive seasons at Manhattanville, Walsh was also solid in the circle as she pitched 24 innings. She finished 4-0 across six appearances with a 1.17 ERA and 26 strikeouts. On April 30, she threw a no-hitter against Sarah Lawrence, the first solo no-no of her career.
