PURCHASE, N.Y. — Kayla Jennings (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Lakeland) has yet again landed in the spotlight for the Skyline Conference being named the Libero of the Week for the second week in a row. 

The junior libero has been a force on the court and essential support for the Valiants' defense. In her last three games alone, she tallied nine assists, two service aces, and 43 digs, leading the team in digs with 130 total so far this season holding a receiving average of .870. 

In her game against Kean University she secured 17 digs, and six assists. The following Saturday, facing a Tri-Match she faced William Paterson University and Dickinson College. Against William Paterson University, she tallied 15 digs and against Dickinson College she secured three assists, two service aces, and 11 digs. 

Jennings continues to be a leader on the team sitting tied as team leader for service aces with 10, and third on the squad for assists with 18. 

The Valiants and Jennings will return back to the court this Saturday, September 20th at 1 PM for the Skidmore Tri-Match in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
