PURCHASE, N.Y. – Senior golfer Corey Popowcer (Parkland, Fla./Vermont Lumberjacks (EHL)) was named Skyline Conference Golf Player of the Week after a career-best performance at the Saint Joseph Long Island Invitational and a strong start to the season at the Purchase College Invitational.

The first time hitting the greens at the Purchase College Invitational, Popowcer contributed to Manhattanville's third-place finish, tying for ninth individually and shooting 88 (+16) on the day.

Popowcer led the way for the Valiants at the Saint Joseph's Long Island Invitational, claiming first overall in individual scores. The Florida native capitalized on the day with a career-best 72 (+1), starting with a 39 (+4) on the front nine holes before sinking four birdies in the back nine to finish 33 (-3).

The Valiants finished second overall at the SJLI Invitational.
