PURCHASE, N.Y. – Manhattanville women's soccer players Drita Tinaj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown) , Gianna Cuffari (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) , and Macey Girard (Branford, Conn./Branford) all earned Skyline Conference recognition in the weekly awards for Sept. 8 – Sept. 14, 2025.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – DRITA TINAJ

Leading the way for the Valiants' offensive efforts this week was sophomore midfielder Drita Tinaj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown). Tinaj earned her first hat-trick against conference opponent Yeshiva in the team's first Skyline win of the 2025 campaign.

Also in the victory, Tinaj totaled six points by recording six shots, four shots on goal, and scoring the game-winning goal for the first time in her career.

Tinaji tallied her second assist of the season during non-conference matchup win at Brooklyn College on Sept. 10.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – GIANNA CUFFARI

Graduate student Gianna Cuffari (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) had a significant impact on the field for Manhattanville during the three-game stretch this past week.

The rookie from Stony Point, N.Y marked up stat-sheets with five shots on goal and three goals contributing to the Valiants' two-out-of-three victories, outscoring opponents 17-5.

Cuffari scored her first collegiate goal against Brooklyn before finding the back of the net once more during the match and grabbing her first home goal against Yeshiva the next day.

She currently sits at six shots thus far with a 1.000 shot on goal percentage.

HONORABLE MENTION – MACEY GIRARD

The third Valiant to earn weekly recognition was senior goalkeeper Macey Girard (Branford, Conn./Branford), earning back-to-back recognition from the conference.
