PURCHASE, N.Y. – With just over one week until the season, the Skyline Conference named Manhattanville University women's lacrosse sixth in the 2026 preseason poll. The Valiants received a total of 30 points.
Manhattanville finished the 2025 campaign 5-10 (3-5 Skyline) with conference victories coming over Mount Saint Vincent (13-7), Purchase (21-3), and Old Westbury (17-1)
The Valiants return four of the top five scorers from last season's roster.
Pietra Cabral (Mineola, N.Y./Mineola) led the team with 38 goals and 46 points.
Kaci Pierce (Niantic, Conn./East Lyme) tallied 30 goals in her junior season while adding 10 assists and two game-winning goals. Joining Cabral and Pierce in the eight-meter,
Ashley Glass (Mahopac, N.Y./Lakeland) racked up 21 goals. The final lead scorer in the 2025 campaign was
Kathleen O'Mara (Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman), who finished the year with 14 goals.
Megan McDonald (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) returns to the crease after her freshman season as the primary goalkeeper. In her first year, she rounded out the year with 130 saves and a .401 save percentage. Lastly, eight freshmen will join the roster and gear up for their collegiate debuts.
Manhattanville opens the season on Feb. 20 for its Hidden Opponent Game against Hartwick College at GoValiants.com Field.
